Please feel free to contact us by email with questions about the theatre and tickets and we will do our best to respond to your inquiries but cannot guarantee a response time nor can we complete ticket sales online. During our season our limited box office staff is kept quite busy with walk-in and telephone sales and, due mostly to a lack of funding, at this time we are not able to increase our staff or offer ticket sales either online or by email. If you want to purchase tickets we ask that you either call the box office or stop by if you are in town. The Box Office number is 850 653 3200 and the hours we are staffed are: Wed. & Sunday 12 Noon - 5 PM Friday & Saturday 2 PM - 10 PM If you have any ideas about further funding possibilities we would like to hear from you on that as well.

Our 2012 Professional Season has come to an end.

  • Our season has come to a close
Somewhat sadly, we bid goodbye to our 2012 Professional Season as it fades into our rear-view mirror.  There were plenty of memorable moments, though and we will fondly recall 2012 as a very good year for the Dixie.  We had a lot of strong solid hits and for the most part we were thrilled with the artists, the shows, and the performances.

Singling any out for mention would be hard as so many of them were so darn delightful and mentioning one or two while leaving out one or two would seem like a slight.

Some of our performers have already expressed an interest in returning, some before our next full season so we are excited about those prospects and will bring you news of any bookings as soon as we make them.

We want to thank each and every single person who purchased tickets to the shows this season and helped us support our dream of providing a professional live theatre venue here on the Forgotten Coast.  We will continue to do everything we can to keep that dream alive and well and look forward to seeing you and your smiles back here at The Dixie as soon as possible.

We would like to also thank all of our team of dedicated and hard-working volunteers, without whom The Show Would -- Not -- Go On.

Big thanks to all.  We hope to see you all again real soon.

seating chart

Ten Tables are located in orchestra area.  Tables normally will seat 4-6 patrons.

Please note: The table location shown on the chart is approximate. Exact placement is determined by factors including the stage set up for each particular show and number of seats sold for each performance. You will be able to move your chairs around the table but not the table itself.

No matter where you sit, you are going to have fun -- so no whining.

Mezzanine is at stage level with a rise toward back and is 24 feet from stage.

Shaded seats in balcony have partially obstructed view and are not sold.

The Ghost Light

On any given afternoon, when there are no rehearsals or performances taking place in the main hall, you are likely to find a single, solitary light bulb lighting the stage of the Dixie Theatre.
