The Dixie Theatre is available to rent when not otherwise scheduled for performances.  Consider this venue as the site of your next organization or community event or a personal special event.  The Theatre can provide help with your event for details such as sound, lighting, publicity, ticket taking, and security, and can put you in touch with any other help you might need. 

The Theatre offers an intimate venue with superior acoustics.  Maximum seating is 200 or 137 depending on configuration.  There are 3 levels of seating:  the orchestra area with portable tables and chairs, and the mezzanine and balcony with permanent "theatre" seating.

RESERVING THE THEATRE:
To reserve the Dixie, call the Theatre and make an appointment for a Theatre walkthrough and dicussion of the contract specifics.  We require a signed contract and a $200 deposit to hold this date.  If the date is canceled 30 days prior to the rental period, this amount will be refunded.  Otherwise it is applied toward the contracted charge.  Full rental amount and Security Depost is due and payable prior to Renters moving in any equpment or occupying premises.

INSURANCE: We require an affidavit of liability insurance from every group that uses the Dixie Theatre. lf your group already has insurance, contact your insurance agent. They are usually glad to send us one.

SAFETY and THEATRE RULES: We will present the contracting agent with a list of safety regulations and Theatre rules. It is up to the user to make sure that these rules are discussed with all members of the group that will be utilizing the Theatre.

ADVERTISING:  The Dixie assumes no responsibilities for advertising Renter's event.  However, if Renter provides event information it may be included in Dixie's regular mailings and listings of coming events.  Also, the Threatre marquee may be used if available. 

FACILITY COST:

       $400/day legally recognized non-profit organizations,  $525/day other.
       Security Deposit (refundable): $200.
       Down Payment to secure date (non-refundable, applied to rental fee): $200
       Clean-up (non-refundable): $60/$100 if food or beverages involved
       Rehearsal Use, Clean-up, Load-in/Setup or Load-out/Break-down: $150/day
       Lighting/Sound Operator (if desired): $15/hour, minimum $60/day
       Sound System usage: cost on individual basis
